ARTHUR, a half open formal barong in natural linen silk, is part of the EN Barong Filipino line, finished with long sleeves and a regular collar. This linen-silk blend pairs linen’s cool, absorbent hand — long favored for the Philippine climate — with the added sheen and drape of silk. Pintuck detailing adds fine, stitched pleats for texture and structure. This half-open construction is known as “pechera” (from the Spanish pecho, “chest”) — the oldest and most classic barong style, with embroidery concentrated along the chest opening.
