EDUARDO, a full open formal barong in blue cocoon silk, is part of the EN Barong Filipino line, finished with long sleeves and a regular collar. Cocoon silk is reeled from the cocoon of the Bombyx mori silkworm, prized as both the strongest and, for its weight, the lightest natural textile fiber. This full-open construction is known as “straight” — a classic barong style with embroidery running in two parallel vertical bands down the front.
