Handy guide on preserving your barong tagalog

Keep this care guide handy to ensure the longevity of your heritage pieces. You can also find a copy of this on our hangtags.

Hand wash carefully using a mild detergent or bath soap.
Do not scrub. Do not dry clean. Harmful chemicals may make the barong brittle.

Rinse with upward and downward motion.

Do not squeeze or twist. Allow to drip dry on a hanger.

Iron the barong while still slightly damp or as soon as it is dry.

Hang and store in protective covering to avoid unsightly creases or folds.
